Introducing David…
I’d like to take a moment to introduce you to David, la poema’s new drummer. David has been a cool kid I got to know over the last few years. He’s helped out with the kid’s ministry I work with at my church off and on, slowly taking on more and more responsibility. It’s been great!
One night, after playing together, I asked Dave what he thought about playing for la poema. With his usual excitement, he let out an ‘I’d love to!’  And thus continued an excellent friendship and evolved into something I’m sure you ALL are going to love.
David brings in his style, the subtlety and thought that la poema has always tried to embody, and yet, the life and joy of Heaven we hope to promote while we are here on Earth. He likes to bike around the city, observing the architecture we find in the fine city of Minneapolis, and enjoy all the art  we have here, the painting, poetry and dance. He’s also getting into photography, so we may end up seeing a few more photos as he finds a place here (wouldn’t that be nice).
If you ever want to have a good chat, or a good listener, put on the kettle and invite David for a cup your favorite tea. He’ll be sure to delight you with his company.
