Candy, Carmel and Cuteness… That is what we are doing tonight (besides, a little mixing and mastering my Christ-mas album).
la poema is a musical project driven by me, joey bures, and as such it is a opportunity for me to do pretty much what ever I want to.
What ends up happening is that people often compare my music to that of Jon Foreman, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and others that are male singer-songwriter types playing some modern folk. But if you listen for long, you would find that I explore more flavors in many genres: tribal, rock, electronica, spanish and jazz. I draw from my past experiences and enjoy giving the listener a variety in one sitting.
